Campus Dining

At dining halls, the nutritional value of the food served and the sustainability of production is of the utmost importance to the staff. Chefs and dieticians work hard to create a diverse array of meal options and can create individualized diet plans, if needed.

On Green Street, running through the heart of campus, there are countless restaurants providing fantastic Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Korean, Middle Eastern, and Mexican food.

Campus Activities

Recreation Centers

The UIUC campus has two large recreation centers that include indoor basketball courts, indoor tracks, badminton courts, indoor pools, a rock-climbing wall, and a sauna. The ARC location also provides cooking and nutritional wellness classes for students, as well as a pantry stocked with free food to further support student health.

Activities and Recreation Center (ARC)

The ARC is one of the largest campus recreation centers in the country. It includes 2 Olympic-sized pools, indoor tracks, a rock-climbing wall, exercise machines, a sauna, and more.

Campus Recreation Center East (CRCE)

Although the smaller of the two recreation centers, CRCE offers an indoor track and pool, multiple gymnasiums, and a variety of exercise machines.
